This trip to Green island was really fulfiling and enlightening. Though i suffered from sea sick and puked on the boat ride, it was all worthwhile!! I get to see the Pacific Ocean, breathe it, and feel it at my finger tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was exclaiming at the ocean so many times that my travel mate was irritated and said " You and your Pacific Ocean"
Snorkelling was really a wonderful and enjoyable experience :) Beautiful corals of different colours, shapes and sizes, colourful fishes, mysterious caves under the water, and I saw the sea bed!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a total different world down there, so mysterious yet inviting. Quiet, serene, and mystic. Wooohooooooooo. I wanna go snorkelling again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest of the trip was mainly a short tour around the island. Im still very much intrigued by the beautiful terrains of the Island. Green island is a volcanic island, formed by the collision of two oceanic plates in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, which explains the curved and complex coastline. Rock intrusions of different interesting shapes and sizes ( picture above depicts a 哈巴狗 and 睡美人) are the results of the uplifting of the plates.
I'm so grateful to be able to witness the beauty of nature. Was so touched i hugged my travel mate once we reached the shore after snorkelling. I simply love the scenic part of travelling :)
My parents are arriving in an hour! I'm going to stay at their hotel till Friday!! :)
